This Doctor of Ministry dissertation uses Adizes’s organizational lifecycle concepts alongside Adizes Institute materials to examine how denominational oversight structures affect the revitalization of declining congregations. Adizes’s lifecycle model provides the diagnostic framework through which the author interprets organizational aging and prescribes revitalization strategies.
