This doctoral record of study traces the institutional history of Cranfills Gap ISD through the lens of Adizes’s organizational lifecycle theory. The work uses Adizes’s framework to interpret how the school district moved through predictable lifecycle stages, from founding and growth through institutionalization, and what that trajectory reveals about the challenges of sustaining small rural educational institutions.
